Data Center

Structured cabling, fiber, wireless and integrated facility work for colos, hyperscale operators and enterprise data centers across the United States

Cabling, smart hands and infrastructure for the data center floor

If you operate a colocation or multi-tenant data center, you need a partner who can move at customer-install speed without slowing down site security or changing control. Our crews work alongside your teams, follow your method-of-procedure documents and leave the floor cleaner than we found it.

If you run hyperscale or enterprise data centers, you need consistent execution across many sites. We staff regional crews, standardize labeling and test outputs, and report through a single project manager so you’re not chasing 12 vendors for one rollout.

If you’re an MSP or systems integrator, you need a hands-on partner you can dispatch to a cage at 2 a.m. We provide smart hands, remote eyes and on-call install crews so your team doesn’t have to fly someone to a site for basic maintenance or troubleshooting.

How we run a data center project

A five-step process designed for sites with strict access, change control and uptime requirements.

  1. Site walk and scoping

We meet you on-site or on a virtual walk to map cable paths, rack layouts, access constraints and any existing infrastructure we need to work around. You leave with a documented scope, not a guess.

  2. Estimate and schedule

We deliver a line-item estimate keyed to your scope and a schedule that fits your change windows. If the work has to happen overnight or on weekends, we plan it that way from the start.

  3. Crew and PM assignment

A dedicated project manager owns the job from kickoff to closeout. We assign trained technicians and splicers based on the work type, with backup capacity for tight schedules.

  4. Install with documentation

Crews install to spec, label everything to your standard and capture test results and as-built drawings as the work happens. No “we’ll send the docs later.”

  5. Closeout and ongoing support

We hand over a clean documentation package and stay on call for adds, moves, changes and smart hands. The closeout is the start of the relationship, not the end.

Why operators choose XS Telecom

Four reasons data center clients keep us on the call list.

National footprint, regional crews

Headquartered in the DC and Northern Virginia area with regional offices in Florida and Texas and a presence in Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi, we deploy crews across the United States. National rollouts run on a consistent standard, not a different vendor for every market.

Single point of contact

One project manager owns your job from kickoff to closeout. You’re not handed off between sales, ops and field. The person who scoped the work is the person who answers the phone when something changes.

Smart hands when you need it

On-call technicians available for cross-connects, card swaps and remote-hands work. We dispatch fast, log everything and stay until the ticket clears.

Documented closeout

Every installation is commissioned with labeled test results, as-built drawings and documentation. When your auditor or customer asks for proof, it’s already in the file.
